Photocopied news clippings, press releases, transcripts of television and radio news reports, a VHS video cassette, and three audio cassettes related to the Sound of Moosic Contest, a sales promotion created in 1988 for Kemps Ice Cream by the Mona, Meyer & McGrath public relations firm. The materials consist mostly of photocopied clippings relating to the contest, in which participants were to "moo" their favorite songs in hope of winning a prize of $500 cash and a year's supply of ice cream. The promotion attracted entrants from across the United States. Kemps is a product of Marigold Foods Inc. (Minneapolis, Minn.).
